Citron are one of the largest varieties of citrus, measuring up to three times the size of a supermarket lemon. They have an immensely aromatic rind and under this is a very thick layer of white pith which makes up about 70% of the entire fruit! They are one of the very small number of original citrus fruits, which include the pomelo and mandarin, from which all other varieties have been developed. The citron has very little juice so it is the zest that gives our Citron Gin it’s fragrant aroma and lemon like flavour. Very refreshing with ice and cold tonic! 42% ALC/Vol 50ml
